About Us  | Our mission is to teach your young ones values, respect, and basic education to prepare them for entry into school. Mr. and Mrs. Evans, the owners and directors of Evans Day & Night Care, Inc., started out keeping 5 of their relatives children in their home. After friends and other individuals demanded their services, they added a room to their home, and became licensed to keep 15 children. Still there was an even greater demand for her services, so she had a building erected right next to her home. This building offered day & night services to 45 children on each shift. However, this still wasn't enough to meet the growing demand of the city's ever increasing population. The next step they took was to purchase an old furniture store. It was completely renovated & provided services for infants ages 6 weeks to 24 months thus becoming Evans Infant Care. Needing more room still, the Evans family moved to another home and remodeled their former home to accomodate after school children, establishing Evans After School Care. Many of our staff members have certification in SafeServ Food Service, TummySafe Food Service, First Aid,and CPR and our center is licensed by the State of Mississippi and hold a current Food Permit. We have five staff members who have Associate's Degrees in Child Development Technology and OCY Director's Credentials. | |

Evans Day & Night Care, Inc. has been in operation for over 18 years. It has three locations-Evans Infant Care, 1107 Mareed Avenue; Evans After School Care, 1017 Lamar Avenue; and Evans Day & Night Care, Inc., 1025 Lamar Avenue. It is owned and operated by Raymond and Vivian Evans, born and raised in Yazoo City, MS. | |
